Welcome to My E-Portfolio

My name is Lydia Hernandez, and I currently serve as an Assistant Principal of Instruction at IDEA Public Schools. I have dedicated 14 years to education, working to improve student achievement, support teacher development, and create meaningful learning experiences. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction concentrated in Elementary Math and Science. I am currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Educational Technology, where I continue to expand my knowledge of instructional design, educational technology integration, and innovative teaching practices.

Purpose of the E-Portfolio

This e-Portfolio documents my journey through the Educational Technology program at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. It showcases my coursework, leadership experiences, instructional design projects, reflections, and professional growth as I transition into educational technology and instructional design.
